  Bobbi Hesselgrave was a District Manager for the Social Security Administration when she retired in 2004. She has 34 years of experience working for Social Security. She started working for the Agency after she graduated from Indiana University in 1970 with a degree in Business. She was a Claims Representative, Field Representative, Operations Supervisor, Assistant District Manager, Branch Manager and District Manager. She worked in several states including California, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio. She received Outstanding Performance Awards and/or High Quality Increases every year. She was a liaison to other agencies, gave speeches and seminars, wrote newspaper articles and participated in radio and television programs regarding Social Security issues.She loves to travel and is active in her local community.She ia an active member of Altrusa in Hamilton OH.

Darlene Oldendick worked as a Management Support Specialist for the Social Security Administration when she retired in November of 2007. She has 33 years of experience with the agency. She is an expert in the field of Social Security policy, programs and regulations. Social Security presented her with many Outstanding Performance Awards as recognition for her service to the mission of the agency. During her career at Social Security, she also held the positions of Account Number Clerk, Development Clerk, Service Representative, Claims Representative, and Assistant District Manager. She supervised the claims unit for over 8 years.
Darlene is currently associated with Social Security Solutions as a consultant. She provides sound guidance to clients preparing to file for Social Security benefits. The process begins with a pre-retirement analysis and goes through the claims process. She assists clients with Social Security problems and sees them through to resolution. She enjoys sharing her 33 years of Social Security knowledge to assure people make decisions that are right for them. Darlene also serves on several committees as an active member of her community and is an active member of Altrusa.

 Kathy Pelzel retired in 2007 as a Technical Expert for the Social Security Administration. Working her way up through the agency during her 32-year career, Kathy holds the former job titles of Development Clerk, Senior Development Clerk, Data Review Technician, Service Representative, Claims Representative, and Management Support Specialist. Each position served as a stepping-stone to the next job title and she is grateful for the many opportunities this profession has provided. Kathy is the recipient of numerous Outstanding Performance Awards for her contribution of service to the agency. The Federal Executive Board recognized her as the Outstanding Federal Employee of the Year in the Service category in Southwest Ohio. Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of her neighborhood homeowner’s association, and is Secretary of the neighborhood social club. Along with Bobbi and Darlene, she is busy working on their upcoming book that will be a valuable tool for anyone seeking accurate information about Social Security entitlements, as well as insider’s tips on dealing with the agency.
